Clams Casino Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoon White wine or water
- 1 can of 6 ounce Chopped Clams, drained (reserve juice)
- 1 package Blue Crab Bay Clams Casino Mix
- 1/2 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- 8 ounce Cream Cheese, softned
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
Directions:
Warm lemon juice, wine or water, and about four tablespoons of reserved clam juice in a small bowl or pan. Add bell-pepper blend from Blue Crab Bay Clams Casino package, allowing 10 to 15 minutes for rehydration. Meanwhile, heat the half-stick of butter in a small bowl in microwave. Mix breadcrumbs from Blue Crab Bay Clams Casino package with butter until well blended; set aside. Mix Parmesan cheese with bacon bits found the Blue Crab Bay Clams Casino package and set aside. Mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in rehydrated vegetables and liquid. Fold in clams. Spoon mixture into a lightly buttered quiche dish or other oven-safe dish. Top with breadcrumb mixture, then Parmesan and bacon bits. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Great with buttery crackers.
