Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 6.5 oz tins of chopped clams or 1 cup cooked, minced clams (reserve 2 tbsp. juic
  • 2 milk
  • 1 Clam Fritter Mix package
  •  Canola Oil

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, beat egg, then add reserved clam juice and milk. Add drained clams and Clam Fritter Mix to the liquid mixture and stir until blended. Pour canola oil to a depth of 1/2 inch in a deep pan, and heat to a medium high or 350 degrees. Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil. Fry until golden brown on each side. Drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Pairs well with our Creamy Dill Dip. Yields 14 to 20 puffs.
