Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk or half and half
  • 8 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/2 lb fresh crabmeat
  • 4 ounce Cheddar Jack cheese, shredded (reserve a little)
  • Chesapeake Bay Seasoning to taste
  • Hot Sauce to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat milk or cream in stockpot, then add cream cheese and stir until lumps have melted. Add crabmeat and shredded cheese, Chesapeake Bay Seasoning (start with 1 tsp. and add more if needed), and a few dashes of hot sauce. Allow all ingredients to melt together, stirring occasionally. Place dip in oven safe dish and top with remaining shredded cheese. Garnish with a sprinkle of Chesapeake Bay Seasoning. Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve with toast points, crackers or pita wedges.
